Dr. Vijay Kumar Sohanlal blends nearly two decades of surgical craft with internationally trained robotic technique guiding patients from chronic joint pain back to a confident, active life.

A consultant orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon practising in Chennai, Dr. Sohanlal is widely recognised for his work in robotic knee and hip replacement, sports injury management and minimally invasive arthroscopy.

Following his MBBS from Mysore University and Master’s in Orthopaedics at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, he pursued advanced fellowships in Mumbai, Germany and Australia bringing globally accepted protocols to every consultation room.

His work spans MGM Healthcare, Medway Hospitals and Fortis Malar, and he currently leads orthopaedic care at Mahi Multispecialty Hospital, Kilpauk.
