Dr. U P Srinivasan is a distinguished surgical gastroenterologist in Chennai with extensive experience in gastrointestinal surgery. He completed his MBBS at Madurai Medical College and went on to pursue his MS in General Surgery at Coimbatore Medical College.

During his training, he developed advanced skills in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery under the mentorship of Prof. Harushi Osugi from Japan. He further specialized by completing his MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology at Madras Medical College under Prof. Chandramohan, gaining in-depth expertise in the management of both benign and malignant gastrointestinal disorders.
