Dr. U. P. Srinivasan is a distinguished Surgical Gastroenterologist in Chennai with expertise in advanced gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgery. He completed his MBBS at Madurai Medical College and his MS in General Surgery at Coimbatore Medical College, where he developed strong skills in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery under the mentorship of Prof. Harushi Osugi from Japan.

He went on to complete his MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology at Madras Medical College under Prof. Chandramohan, gaining extensive experience in treating both benign and malignant gastrointestinal conditions.
